Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I saved over things TWO times. TWICE. I was supposed to have the .psd file of the Inu-Kikyou picture, and a jpg file to upload here, but I saved the flattened psd file over the layered one. -_-' And then I proceeded to save a stupid avatar over the single layered .psd file. So now all I've got of the picture is a stupid unclear, shrunken jpg.

On top of that, I got AgNO3 (Silver Nitrate) on my hands, and it doesn't come off. It takes more than 2 weeks for it to wash off, so now I get to have disgusting looking giant brown stains on my hands and nails for 2 weeks. Ugh, looks like I dug my hand into chocolate.

Is this my bad luck day or something???? >_< How stupid could I be to save over my work twice in one night!?! And why didn't the Chem teacher tell us that AgNO3 stains!!

I got that stained on my uniform... it's brownish and it looks a lot like something else.... o_O

Yeah, my chem teacher had some,

but as she says, it's film developing solution...or whatever it's called.

...Not that I've seen that stuff around for sale, but hey, I could be wrong and that stain might be destined to be removed someday.
